and you're willing to defend national socialists because they aren't child enthusiasts?
The media has made it clear, there is no middle ground.
There is "them and us."
Under normal circumstances, I'd prefer not to have either.
But If I choose neither, I will be declared both.
And given that the media delcares everyone they don't like as "national socialists" and "alt-right" while child enthusiasts get this kind of treatment.
You can stand there on your moral high ground.
But the media has redefined the term national socialist to mean
American
Patriotic
Not-Left
Not-Leftist
Not-creepphillic
The national socialist you're thinking of is part of the old term. They wanted to redefine racism to mean "institutional power" and not discrimination based on race.
But they also inadvertently redefined the term national socialist.
This is the hill the media has chosen to die on.
Then don't be surprised when this happens more and more.
I will never loving defend a child enthusiast. But the media has made it clear, national socialists of today aren't 1940s national socialists. And the word will never mean that again.
It will to those not in the know, but as this goes off the rails, those not in the know will quickly be tasked with the choice by colleagues and others.
Time and time again, we've been treated with terms like "national socialist" and "tribal" for standing for basic things.
We've gone from "Wax my balls, bigot" to "if you're against this film, you're a national socialist."
The film is clear and blatant child enthusiasm.
But the term national socialist and tribal has become a scare word to keep people from saying what needs to be said.
And the fact you're looking, even now, for me to say the magic words proves to me you're part of the cancel culture forgeters too.
forget you, I've made my choice, No matter what fear tactics and submissive things you wish to pull I'm done.
If I'm a national socialist for standing against child enthusiasm, I am.
If I'm a tribal for standing against blatant segregation, I am.
forget your fear tactics, and forget you.
