Author Topic: Frets on Fire  (Read 3899 times)

Aloshi already posted this somewhere in Off-Topic but I'll crosspost it here anyway.

It's a clone of Guitar Hero. You turn your keyboard over and play it like a guitar using the F1 - F5 keys as frets and space bar or enter as the pick.

Looks interesting, I might try it out later :)

Oh also Guitar Zero. Another clone of Guitar Hero. This one's a little more faithful to the original, though.

Unfortunately Guitar Zero is not as popular as frets on fire, so it doesn't have as many songs made specifically for it (with star power notes), but if you get the FoF song converter for it, you can convert GH1, 2 and 3 songs (that were already converted for FoF) which will have Star Power.

Also, playing with a keyboard is awkward. Unless you have a 360 guitar, stay away from this one tbh.

lol i play fof but i have laptop so i suck

I never really did like FoF.

Also laptop now so I can't play D:

FoF wont register half the notes when I strum them.

I love FoF, but it crashes a lot.

It's better than Freetar Hero though.

i made Holy Diver if anyone wants it and i play with 360 guitar (Rockband)

funny thing is, ive never played a GH/rockband computer clone, but i always had the idea of turning your keyboard to a guitar form. but i was thinking bacspace would bet he strum.its better wiht wireless keyboard, cause first i cant get my keybaord to mvoe 5 inches form the desk, and 2 the wire is in the way of my fingers.
