The "famous" type thing could quite easily be done if you think about it laterally. Forum karma. Granted it'd have to be added, and it would start people like Ephialtes, for example, pitted against maxwell, for example, so you'd have a fair starting line.

Almost everyone with an ID below 1k would be considered famous. But not necessarily famous for doing good things (Furdle). Maybe you could only vote for people who are 3k or more IDs less than the highest K of IDs. As of now that'd be the 1k and below. That would make sure the people are experienced. But then again, Sniff wouldn't be a candidate.

Noobs ( i mean player wise not Id wise) would vote a 0 out of 5 because the host said No when they asked from admin.

Use your judgment and join the occasional server you don't like, otherwise play only on servers hosted by people you know.

Then maybe some sort of friends list and server filter. Only the servers that are hosted by someone on your friends list or have someone on your friends list in them would be displayed. This would be in addition to a dead, locked, and full filter.

What I think would be great, is when you're banned from a server, it just doesn't show up on your server's list.

Well I've realized that due to so many noob servers, Hardly any non-noobs play Blockland anymore. It seems every time i play Blockland theres not even one good server anymore. So what i was thinking was that there could be a Hosting Permit. To host you have to apply for this permit.
One: By proving they're not an annoying little pest.
Two: By proving they can build without spamming.
Three: By proving they are a good admin.
Four: By proving they are an experienced and valued member of the Blockland community.

We already have a "hosting permit". Most idiots can't figure out how to forward ports, probem solved.

True but a lot of noobs don't need to. And some still figure it out. Hence the noob servers crowding blockland.

What the heck do we care if there are noob servers?  Or badmin servers? 
If we had a vote, you could be an epic blockland player, but have a lot of noob enimies because they asked for admin and you said no, so the majority would be a No vote, because noobs hate you!

Lame idea, it would kill more good than bad servers, might even run blockland into a hill!    There would be no servers up due to noobs voting no, and skilled players voting no on noobs!  And then you throw in ID racism and the whole "Lol you can't host nub!" thing.

Here is the best way of solving this problem, and it is free!  It is easy!  And best of all....  It works!

As far as the colored servers if you are banned there, or the symbol that says banned, it is good
Maybe even a kicked: [insert however many times here] so you could see if they are badmins


But a server permit, lame, end of stroy, it is useless and might even kill blockland.
I hope this server falls into the back of the forums with the Failed topics so we can get this idea out of our heads before it happens and screws with blockland.
