What about just detecting when the player hits W?

Well it would be cool that if you try to stay at the smae speed for awhile and struggle, you lose more gas. But it would be a hard script to make.

There doesn't seem to be a way to make vehicles use energy when driving, only when 'jetting', which doesn't work since you just climb out of the vehicle like that now. It might be possible to charge you energy for moving (use C and shift for slow driving but more fuel efficiency?) but it would also take fuel to be shot out of cannons and be impulsed by rockets, unless there is a clever way to determine this.
Agreed, if it is too hard to make it only when you are in any random vehicle, maybe you could make one spacific vehicle that goes with the mod and has the bar somewhere on it or the screen when you drive it.

But to that, it would be cool if you could have little speed ups for a horse, like in LOZ,  when you get little things and you click them and it makes your horse go faster,  that would be a neat alternative for player vehicles,   But also, what about ball and weighted cube?

Horses eat beans for fuel.
Sorry for double post, but they eat hay and feed for fuel and i know what your getting at! You mean they fart and go flying :). LOL

Up until Twilight Princess, I thought you shoved the Carrot up the horses ass, but than I realized that your hitting him with it, and the carrot dissappears, It was silly.

This would be good, but the problem is the fuel bar you need.

That already exists. That's not the hard part.

My problem with trying this is detecting when you are actually trying to go forwards (e.g. pressing W) without clientside mods and not taking fuel for using impulse cannons etc.

What about just detecting when the player hits W?
Because someone could completely change controls so like W is backwards.
