If you're really bored, go out and do all of the Shrine quests.

How did anyone go about keeping Shadowmere? I keep loosing it.

I only use it for traveling from town to town. I keep it near the gaurds as often as possible, since it's not exactly the hardiest horse...

Find the unicorn, then ride it into town, then let it murder everyone.

With overhaul, the unicorn is invincible. I estimate that you can only kill it at... level 40 or so...

If I get this thing into the imperial city, none of the gaurds can kill it. It's CRAZEH!

Sittin and waitin for the PSP version. Was it canceled or something? :(

You DO know that it actually has nothing to do with the PC/console version of Oblivion right? It's gonna be a dungeon hack'n'slash, not a free roaming one.

Just checking.

I don't see why shadowmere is so hard to keep alive, its pretty easy, but you guys all must have ADD at the rate you get off topic.

I used the same combo as you Yeturn, it's undefeatable IMO.

It's nearly impossible to survive in Overhaul.

Seriously amazons are rediculous.

I killed it once using a Silver longsword when I was low level, and enchanted weapons could probably harm it. It just takes a Looong time to kill (this was without Overhaul though, it's probably insane now), and it's not all that worth it unless there's some goofy quest that asks you to kill it.

I know a Fire Explosion bow with Electric Explosion arrows could probably bring it down, but the bow alone is so rare. The simple add-elemental damage bows don't compare to the explosion bow for some reason. Last time I found the explosion bow, I spent a good time killing everyone in Imperial city (minus those stupid captains that just go unconscious). The splash damage is also nice in densely crowded areas.

Edit: I'll have to look at that Overhaul thing, Oblivion was easy for me even on Hard mode. Level scaling pissed me off too.

The overhaul makes stuff impossible.  I can hardly kill anything because conjurers require me to break them up and charge them with at least three health potions.  Bandits are fairly easy now that I am level two and have steel armor/dwemer mace/a million other weapons.

I also stole some amazon armor by luring the wearer into some guards, a black bow by playing hit and run on a maurader vs black bow bandit dungeon and luring some guys out, also using guards for one or two.

One conjurer followed me for at least two miles, to a bandit-held house, killed both the bandits, then stayed on the first floor and summoned scamps constantly.  I thought she was going to run out of mana, so I took down a few, after the fourth or so I got tired of this and charged her.  She slipped away(NPCs are fast little things) to the attic, where I charged her again, then she went into the bedroom on the second floor that I had originally occupied. This is where I got her into a corner and just kept hitting her until she died.  That was how I lost the last of my healing potions.  Note that the black bow bandits and crap came AFTER this, so I had to do them especially carefully.

:panda:

Traps will one-hit you too.  You have to be really careful or you'll lose a lot of progress to a swinging ball.

Hey i just remembered something...

I found a unicorn and the game has identified it as "my horse" but the damn thing is crazy and decides to kill me any time it gets pissed.

How do i:

A. Get it to stop being my horse, but not kill it so i can potentially use it later
B. Basically "tame" it.

The unicorn is extremely violent, I am not sure how to calm it down without being SUPERLEET ILLUSION MAGE after it gets pissed off.
