I went on an RP server once, and I saw nobody roleplaying.

You don't have to roleplay in RP servers, the rules are you can't interfere with other RPers and they have a naming policy. It would be impossible to RP 24/7 if you wanted to raid or fully enjoy everything the game has. RP is a horrible place, go to Goldshire and everyone wants to ERP (erotic RP) which means "Anyone want to have cyber love?"

Other than raids of parties. I get so irritated when I'm enjoying my RP with someone else, and some jackass comes running up asking us "lol where is SW".

I miss the Everquest 1 RP servers, it had lots of cool RP elements. For one, all binding of items and level requirements were taken completely away, allowing anyone to wear anything at any level. You started with your native language and to learn other languages you had to listen to other people speak it (usually people just made a long macro and spammed it in group chat until you learned but still was cool). It also had no OOC(out of character) chat. It had tons more RP things about it but I forgot most of them since it's been like 7 years.
