I lost 50 dollors to WoW. I bought the Blue king guy CD without knowing you have to pay for the game itself and all that stuff a few years ago.

As if.  Blizzard needs to rake in money for WoW, there is no way they can make it free.  The realm servers cost LOTS of money to maintain and the bandwidth for them is even more.

They make 180 million a month off of WoW, I think they have enough to cover their needs and then some. That's also just off of monthly subscriptions. They are also making money off of micro-transactions such as character transfers/race changes/name changes and their digital store. Then they have expansions that cost 50 dollars, and they sell millions of copies at release.

$15 a month is fine, I just think all the older expansions are overpriced, and the total price to buy everything has turned away quite a few of my friends who were thinking of playing. Wrath is still what, $40? And all your getting is a week long stepping stone to get to Cata.

I need to start raiding more but since my guild/raid leader is in Iraq and many of our core members quit I'm mostly doing pugs. Someone else stepped up as raid leader though and we're slowly working on getting a new core group.
Tried a pug Firelands a few days ago but that fell apart shortly after some dumbass insisted that the bear tank was doing it wrong and that bears don't get dodge from agi.
