Why the forget do people use special symbols. god damn. Makes it a real bitch to add them to friends lists or invite them to the party.
It helps block spammers, so they can't be added to friends list or invited to parties. Or whispered unless using /who for that matter.

Or they want to use some name but it's taken so they add some stuffty symbol to it

Plus the people who I really want contacting me already have added me on battle.net.

The only part I liked about this game, was Leroyjenkining every dungeon my friends found.

I did that one battleground with the A in the mountains that look like Dun Morough. I think it was a 25 vs 25 and for once, on my fourth battleground, the alliance won. Also holy stuff talk about choke points, it was such a loving struggle to keep the horde from breaking through into the valley but we somehow kept them back and then pushed back and then they ran out of reinforcements. I did over 85000 damage total and died 14 times with a total of 41 honorable kills. Fun stuff.

Also where the forget can I get better weapons? I've seriously looked in the AH almost every day now, checked the weaponmakers and I can't find anything better than what I have. I recently replaced my maces with two better-damaging fist weapons and I still only have about a 125 dps. I did a dungeon and the main guy was doing +200 dps. I also saw my first person that was a mage as a tank.

Level your loving character to maxlevel and do some heroic dungeons or raids.

Quests, Auctioneer, Dungeons

get atlasloot if you want to see all the rewards a dungeon gives.

Alterac Valley is in my opinion the best battleground. Especially before they changed it to have reinforcements and removed the fun sidequests (summoning giant elementals yeah). They did this to make battles shorter but I liked it back when the battles took longer because it actually felt like you were fighting a huge battle.

And yeah there is a huge bottleneck between the field of strife and the alliance base, at stonehearth graveyard. This is why most of the time the horde doesn't capture it so they don't meet alliance forces head-on.

If you're looking for better weapons I say just do quests or dungeons. I don't know what level you are so I can't give any specific advice. Weapon vendors (and armour vendors) generally sell stuff that's worse than greens, basically not worth buying or even looking at unless you don't have any greens yet.

NINJA: Oh god posts happened while I read the thread.

I do a lot of dungeons but usually the loot is armor and is plate or mail. Im a level 51 now and my quests never give weapons better than what I have now for some reason; Im doing the quests in the Tanaris area now but Im now back in EK to take care of fun stuff in SW. I check the auction houses constantly for weapons I can use but they're all either waaay overpriced or aren't better than what I have now. During Alterac we had major issues on the Horde side just after the Field of Strife, we got pushed back so many times, especially with the tower that was right there. Eventually we pushed the horde back into the depression on the other side and then kept them there until we beat ass. It was great when the gate was first released, we all walked just far enough out so we could mount and literally everybody stopped, mounted and took off down the trail primarily in the same group. It was amazing lol. I kicked a couple of 53s asses by stealthing on the side of the path, confusing them which dismounts and then kicking them when they were down.

I noticed vendors never have stuff to sell that's decent but I don't know where else. :C

I also dropped both of my professions since I never had much skill with them anyway, perhaps Ill pick up skinning and leatherworking.

Basically, you don't need decent equip at all until you've hit maximum level. Sure, you can gear up if you want to but when you hit a few level ups your current gear will be outdated by other gear that you're going to find.

Well, that is USUALLY the case, when my Warlock was level 47 I had level 28 gear, I died on every mob.

WELL DUH.

Its also been very difficult to do a dungeon lately. I've done like seven in the past few times Ive played and I havent completed any of them because we either get a stuffty healer and we all continuously die, a bunch of blithering four year olds who just argue with each other and then leave, or we get a bunch of people who get all pissy if we messed up and died and then bail on us like stupid idiots.
