Author Topic: Blockland on Steam  (Read 1385 times)

Ok, since Valve is making Steam Cloud (A game saver and control saver for more than one computer), I think it would be a good choice to look into getting Blockland on Steam, we may even be able to get a save page thing, or get Steam Cloud working.

I have been thinking about this. That would bring alot more people to the game. and more money!  :cookieMonster:

more money!
hell yeah!  :cookieMonster:
Well, steam takes half the money from every sale so that only makes it $10 he makes

He only makes about $10 now because of taxes and things...

THATS STUPID, YOURE STUPID, I HATE YOU!!!

Ok first off, i pretty sure Steam would have to buy the license or permission or some crap from badspot.

But they wouldn't buy it unless there's a big enough profit involved. Steam seems to be licensed more towards shooters, adventure games and like general buyable PC Games.

VALVE is the company...  Also, They pretty much license any game.  Have you looked at the store?

This is a bad idea. I hate having to be on the internet to have games. I can bitch, because I fell into their game pit. You don't actually own your games, they just float around on the internet in a little vault that only you have the password to. I like having the option of having multiple blockland folders on my desktop. I like not being on the steam network also, it slows my computer down, and can get annoying. When or if your internet stuffs out, you cant play your games. That sucks.

I enjoy having freedom of where I put, and when I play my games.

Thats what I did.

EDIT:

I completely forgot to mention, the stuffty community they have. You think its bad now, you don't have a loving clue. No one would ever play if this had the community CSS or Gmod did.
