Unimportant community? This idea wouldn't have even come to that empty head of yours if this game wasn't made. Around 80% of the mods made for HL don't even get the recognition they deserve. Yours will be crushed so hard under it's own catastrophic fail that Moddb will be crying.

I don't know about you, but I've played Blockland. I lagged at around 1000 bricks. When I say lag, I mean 3-5 fps.

Let's look at it from a different perspective and ignore the fact that your mod fail; I understand that you didn't start the thread, but you can always end it. As for the game itself, you may have made some progress, but I don't see this as being enjoyable anytime soon. Your bricks aren't symmetrical, your maps are terrible and you can't even find a proper way to stack them.
What I'm getting from you is that somehow, you and your team of lazy, deadbeat teenagers are going to make something greater then a man who does it for a living, and you stick to that and seem to be damn proud of your accomplishments, which are absolutely nothing.
Instead of flaming us and getting your daily 'lulz' here, why not actually do something more productive? Perhaps something that

In theory you lost because you aren't able to counter or even reply like a normal sophisticated human being. First of all, I do have Retail. Second of all, this isn't about not wanting to play Retail. The mod was created because we wanted to throw bricks around with the gravity gun.

Last time I checked there is a perfectly fine game called Garry's mod in which you are able to put your own props. There are things such as lego bricks already in it, but perhaps you could have created a whole new lego kind of add-on thing. No need for a whole new game for you and your 5 friends to throw lego bricks around and laugh at the physics.

If you don't want their opinions and don't want to take this seriously your game is as good as dead. You have no idea how business works and you don't even have slight knowledge of what it takes to create a successful game. You need to open that mind of yours and think clearly for a second. Take in every thing you can from this thread and look at what you're trying to do. Eric has sold over 2 thousand copies of this game, in a sense it's his job to code, map and model. You have no experience in any of this and are relying on 15 year olds with an attention span of a dog.
