Because you knew there was going to be a full-blown wrench event system in v9, and I believe you started production after this was announced. You've also said that it is a substitute for v9 which would imply that it was a copy.

Secondly, posting the same teaser video as Badspot isn't going to win you any points on the sympathy/originality front.

I have never posted a video advertising my Events system. Other people have made videos of things that include Events and my mods, but I did not ask them to or make them do it.

Ok whatever, Badspot does a video of a missile launcher, you post a picture of your own missile launcher. It just seems like some little "hah I can do it too" statement. That part is irrelevant at any rate.

He specifically said "the same teaser video as Badspot" which this evidently isn't.

Some people find this mod useful and like it. I would say this makes it good. If you don't like it, don't use it.

OK, OK. � Settle down. � The Add-On has already been made and, for the most part, it does serve some purpose in v8. � However, the system that Badspot has set up in v9 is so well-integrated and has so many options for players to extend the system with ease, it's clearly on a level at which a person using TorqueScript alone cannot compete. � Though it may be difficult for those who have not had the benefit of playing v9 to comprehend, it will be clear after first use that Badspot has some truly unique ideas that make his system one-of-a-kind. � There's no need to battle over this because there simply can be no contest. � Badspot is a professional programmer with the ability to integrate features directly into the engine. � You just cannot compete with that.

I agree with ephi here, space even says he will continue event mods once v9 comes out
