Loser, I've had this project in my mind as a dream since I was 6. I'm not ditching out on it now once I start just because someone might think it's old.

Bones, try building it out of matches when you're done. My uncle used to build all sorts of ships out of gluing matches together, it takes ages to do but it's really neat once it's done.

Good luck on finishing this, it's looking really great so far.

By "how much is", I'm assuming you mean "how much is it?" There is no set price, I just buy the materials � I need when I need them. I'm using all different sorts of wood (Maple, birch, pine, balsa), styrene, sprue (the "trees" left over from model kits), metal wire, fishing line (rigging), and I'm buying a few parts here and there that would be too complex to me to replicate 30 or so of them. This ship will be static display because water would slowly damage the hull... � not to mention, I would not want it to flip.

I think its pretty lame that people are giving you stick for being so interested in the Titanic, it is a pretty cool ship after all. I've got a pretty small model in my room in fact. I think you're doing really well on the model anyway (its a shame you always message me at 4am because I never get to give you feedback) so keep us posted on how its going :)

Sorry for the double post. Here are some more pictures. It's turned upright now and some more forms have been secured. I've also started the filler for the very tip of the stern where it's too curvy to wrap with wooden strips.
