Author Topic: Some V9 suggestions I have  (Read 3279 times)

Here are some suggestions that I have for V9.

1. A time of day script, e.g type /storm and it will start to rain, type /night and it will become dark, type day and it will be day and so-on (/dusk /dawn). This will help for RPGs.

2. Waves, on maps that have water on them type /waves and there will be waves from small sizes to colossal sized waves

3. Some more print bricks, billboards, BIG 16 bricks long and 12 (or 10) bricks high, small 12 bricks long and 8 bricks high, and a print brick thats 20 bricks long and 5 bricks high (like four 4x5 print bricks next to each other)

4. For music to work on Mac

5. On Mac you can see the fps rate in the corner

6. Player health, a green bar showing how much health you have

7. Vehicle health, a bar showing the health of your Vehicle (but it will only show up if your in a vehicle)

8. So that fog will on Mac

9. LAN trust, trust on LAN will be the same as online and also that you can ban ppl on LAN
also there should be these bricks included with V9

What do YOU know about V9?

I would like the window ones, the 1Way was always my favorite brick as an admin back in rtb..

I wish the upside down print. studs, and inverted ramp corners existed with the game.

All of those can be done via the Mission editor

Not in v8, they can't. fxDTSBricks can't be rotated on anything except the Z axis. You used to be able to in v0002 with static shapes, but not now.

eh? that made no since O_o

You can't make upside down bricks any more with the mission editor, but you could in Blockland v0002 since they used a different system.

So an ew and costom shifting is not possible?

An Editor Wand could technically be made using similar code to the brick generators, but it wouldn't be able to rotate things or scale non-square bricks, being very useless. (as BLB's can't download)

Custom Shifting cannot be done as bricks can't exist on anything except the 1x1x1/3 (plate height) grid, for efficiency reasons. Less to transmit and the ability to hide faces of things you "know" can't be seen (if two identical bricks are on top of each other, hide the top face etc.) lets you place more bricks with no lag.

Well that just takes the fun outa everything

Oh, now I know what your talking about, but i think he was referring to your Roof print plates
