DF: Succession Fort Mirrortires!

There is already a water diversion for a well done, in the antechamber of the bedrooms.

The GCS is stuck over there, at the moment.  So is the rat.

Most airborne things are weak, not sure about the cave swallowmen though.

Yes Anti-Cop everything has been investigated, I still don't want the dwarves drinking liquid poo so I'll move it through a grate somewhere else.

Wait, does moving water through a grate filter it?

That passage you mean the one up to the caldera?
And I thought we had a well.
That passage btw is to get up to that copper.

Yeah I see that, but it also leaves us open for invasion, I also don't know where the damn trade depot is.

Non existant, I usually get the fortress semi self sustaining before I trade.
Also, just wall off the caldera area, because I beleive its in a cave, isnt it?

So we've got some new dwarves,

A weaver
A mason
A trapper
Two soapers

A fishery worker
A fisherdwarf
A weaponsmith

A brewer
A gem cutter
A miner
A carpenter

A butcher
A stoneworker
Seven peasants
and their various animal friends.

Also, a hunter.

7 ----------------------> 29

That just rang the bell for me, food is the focus now. The good thing is that I can probably start a military with all these crappy soapers. We also have two fisherdwarves to come along so now we aren't totally screwed. It still is pretty critical that we have 6 meat and 5 fish for a fortress of 29 dwarves. The mason becomes the sheriff.
We plant some plump helmets and I begin constructing a path into the farm area from the fort. I have plans to do some sort of crazy project but it's secret.
The hunter has been doing some good work, killing a bunch of animals, hopefully he doesn't get the flying things angry.

PFFT.

I ended year one with 17 dwarves.

Masons are useful though.
Trappers and hunters are not.
Also the weaver can be drafted.

4- If thy cannot update within 4 days, thine turn shall be forfeit! The next player will acquire what you had done and continue from there. If it cannot be acquired, the game will continue on from the last spring player change.

Very nice Sheezy. Update's coming in a few minutes.
Notice: There's a rule to not disagree with me, follow it >:(

Congratulations to Urvad Adilibesh and Mafol Anamlitast on their marriage, too bad they'll still have to sleep alone in a bed or on the ground. Nothing much has been going on,  the hunter has been allowed to do his work but I see him coming very close to caveswallow men. Our food stocks are growing and the farm is being prepared so we are no longer in a food crCIA. I am going to start off this autemn by channeling the volcano down into the chasm, which  may not do much, 'tis a gamble. My top secret project has been started, but it's top secret. I've decided to get the trade depot up and start the trading, so standby.

Oh and now I am the official engraver of Mirrortires! May history be recorded in stone for ALL to see!

Another important update; Sheezy is the first legendary miner of the fort! Let's get some work done.

Everyone decided to eat at once and guess what:

stuff. stuff stuff stuff stuff stuff. All of the attention is on the food now, I'm going to make sure this fort doesn't starve. The trapper has been put to work catching rats. The dwarves have told me there are plenty of the vermin running amuck anyway. Stupid cat's aren't doing their job so I might sacrifice them later. The soap makers may follow.

... SOAP MAKERS BEING BUTCHERED?
AWESOME.

I tried to start this game, I didn't know what I was doing except following a guide, it still was hard as hell. The hardest and most complicated game I have ever played in my life. Probably will stay that way for my whole lifetime.

There is a THREAD about the GAME.
This is about the SUCCESSION GAME.
Why does everyone on OBL seem incapable of posting stuff in the right topics?

Anyway, you can't butcher dwarves.

If you edit the raws you can.
