I totally suck with scripting so i was wondering if someone could make me a script where i can set a certain amount of minutes so it changes the map after that time

Change's the map or the day to night?

i asked badspot about that and he said he wants to do it but theres something stopping him from doing it, or something

Just surround the area will BIG walls and color them black or blue for day or night

I do want to put the day/night transitions in.  They would work really well because all of the brick lighting is dynamic.  However, to put them in I would have to break network compatibility and I want to avoid that for now.

Change sky and fog ....

This is a very good idea. I see where he's going with this. He wants t so that it doesn't change the map totally, but just makes everything have different skies and lighting effects. It's a good idea!  :cookieMonster:

You'd have a dark light map. :cookieMonster:

It works for me on Slate Tundra and desert.

You can do it with the editor. Change the skybox, fog, realsun lighting, and sun flare (if it has one).
I think you could do it all with a script but it would only work if you built it into the map.

Thing is I'm not sure how F11 does with networking (like sending the updates to the players).

If you edit the map while playing online the other players wont be able to see any changes (Least in the map) until you save the file and tell the other players to reconnect.. Or you will have to restart the server and have everyone rejoin.
