Sad they need to tell their consumers that. I guess their just giving you guys a pat on the back before they reveal how many more features they have removed from the next version of the console, or that another once exclusive title is going multiplatform.

Or perhaps it was the utter failure of the launch of their new firmware update which prompted this...

Yes, do you remember that XBox update that bricked some consoles?� Owned.� Also, Sony doesn't chicken out, they have given us what they said they would.� Sony Computer Entertainment kinda listens.

I had to ponder as to what my reaction might be for several minutes, when I realized that no reaction can appropriately approach this situation, even with the use of a rather long pole, say 20, 40 meters in length.

Heres bad things about each: Sony delays the stuff out of EVERYTHING. Xbox360's still have the highest brick percentage. I have a ps3. Both consoles are good. If you are a fanboy, Gtfo.

lol, my xbox is bricked right nao. im sorta using the "Towel" trick which only gives me a whole day to play.

SOE, SONY any Sony Playstation are not related. The new PS3 update was quite useful no matter how much people bitch about all these things that don't effect them, they added the freaking main menu in-game so you can forget around with your network settings while in GTA IV rather then restarting the entire damn game which takes ages.

I have had my Xbox (fully functional) for 7 months now. It really is luck of the draw. The issue was pretty much resolved though with the new efficient chip they have used in the new Xboxs.

As with the Playstation? Lack of compelling exclusive games really. Sorry buddy but Killzone 2, Resistance fall of Man nor even MGS4 is enough to justify the cost of the Playstation.

I found a cool tutorial to fix them, you put a washer between the heatsink and the GPU, they said the GPU comes loose from the vibrations from the heatsink.

Here's my summary. Yet again;
Nintendo is in their own little zone.
Microsoft is hogging and copying everything.
Sony is falling behind and isn't showing much promise.

I had mine since launch and, it broke on X-Mas of last year :o

Get the pole out of your ass, and look up towards the end of the year.

We get LittleBigPlanet, 'nuff said. Metal Gear Solid 4 has some of the best online experiences ever, Resistance was brilliant game. I'm not too excited about Killzone 2, considering I never played Killzone.
