I have it on the PS3, and I have to say, it sucks. I've only played a little bit of it but it seriously sucks in my opinion, I never liked the mortal kombat/tekken/soul caliber style gamepley.

There is a evil sword thingy named the Soul Edge, and the good sword named Soul Calibur. A dude named Nightmare became the living embodyment of the Soul Edge and such and did bad stuff. Sigfried was like "no way!" and fused his soul to Soul Calibur in order to defeat Soul Edge. The good guys win and Soul Edge is shattered. A bunch of dudes get peices of the Soul Edge and then fight each other and stuff. More stuff happens and the Soul Edge is recreated, then broken again. Nightmare gets some emo girl with a hula-hoop to help him and she goes around ruining random peoples lives thus getting them involved in the escapades. Random chinese people have a love drama thingy. Random Japanese people try to kill eachother. Some pirate dude trys to kill his daughter and stuff and then is a zombie then dies then is a zombie agian, all the while having a mini-soul edge. Some dude got some Gods angry at him and was turned into a lizard. Some other dude with elvis hair gets pissed at this demon thingy with a big axe and goes to fight him. Sigfried and Nightmare fight again and Sigfried seals Soul Edge away or something.
In Soul Calibur IV some new badguy tries to use Soul Edge and Soul Calibur to ressurect himself. All the guys are like "no way!" and go to fight him. And yeah. The plots of what the real story line is supposed to be is very vauge until the next game occurs.

Is Xiangua still in? I don't remember seeing her in any listings. She was one of my best characters.
