Author Topic: Destroyed Village DM (image heavy)  (Read 4989 times)

This is a DM map based off my favorite multiplayer map from Medal of Honor Allied Assault called the Destroyed Village. I tried to copy the map as best as I could but I had to leave a few things out (most noticeable the destroyed tank thats supposed to be in the road) cause they just didn't come out right. Now I know that some of you are going to say "what's with all the 1x5 bricks?" Well I used them in an attempt to keep the brick count as low as possible in order to keep the frame rate as smooth as possible. Althought high number of ramps does make the frame rate slow a bit on my pc but hopefully most of you won't have this problem. Now I haven't put any weapons or spawn points in the map cause I figured that I would leave that up to anyone that wants to use this map.
Now since I don't have any experience running a DM I would greatly appreciate it if anyone that downloads this map and uses it would give me some feed back on it.
This map took me about 3 months to build and has a brick count of 17610.
Feel free to rate.

Here's the link the download.

This is a great build from the looks of it.  Good work :D

looks awesome, but from what i see, it lacks on the roads like burning cars or something.

It looks great, im gonna have to try it sometime. Great job.

Good grammar, amazing build,  who are you?  :cookieMonster:

Looks amazing, great job what is your ingame name?

Well the original map from Medal of Honor didn't have any burning cars. The closest thint it had to that was a blown up tank but every time I tried to build one it never came out right.

The village looks better then mine, but then again mine is suppose to look like its from the 1600's. I tried to download your village it doesn't work. However I like this build you should keep up the good work

What didn't work ? Could you not download it, or did you download it and it wouldn't work in the game ?

Download is not even there.

You uploaded it incorrectly and the share file is set to private.

Looks like a 9/10 :-D Great job.

Copy of anyther map = pro and con.

Some area look empty- Needs moar detail (but not too much, for sake of frames)

I think I may have fixed it. Please let me know if there is still a problem.

It's fixed, and it looks great. If you don't mind me rating, I'd say 9/10.
