I don't know who you are trying to root for Reactor Worker, but I don't see why you guys can't just get over the fact I wish to live my life believing in something better than all this. If I want to believe that in every bad situation comes a better benefit, the so what? Why do you just have to ruin peoples hopes. What gives you the right?

And on another note, I don't think anyone wants war, but its just necessary sometimes, you need to grow up and get out of your fantasy world.

Oh I agree fully, many people (I would say most) do need some kind of faith to get through their lives. But there are many cases where the beliefs of religious people (not just Christians mind you) interfere with the workings of society and progress.

What gives you the right?

Freedom of speech is a double edge sword. I am allowed to speak out against religion and other issues, just as others are allowed to speak out against the government and it's policies. Sadly, it is an immutable rule and so there can be little room for "if's, ands, or but's". Just as many would not like that crazy lady to protest at a soldier's funeral, many would not like to here negative things said about their religion, but censoring either would be a step backwards.

ive seen a few churches that support our troops(they could be scamming us just to get some ching), not all of the christian are what you think iban, but most are what you think(i hate them to) ,but any one who thanks god for the death of some one should go die in a ditch.

 My church takes one offering a week. How do you think a church functions? It has all of the bills that a house has, but more. Tithing is needed in order to have the church.

My pastor says this every time the offering plate is passed around: "Please, do not put anything into the plate unless you have prayed about it. We do not want you to feel obligated."

How's that for "scamming us just to get some ching"?
