Yahtzee is right. It seems the reason for these pissy console wars is that you or your parents can't afford either both or all three (Plus Wii). So you have to hold on to the one thing you have and convince yourself that you made the right decision.

The PS3 is just a hunk of metal wrapped in plastic made by Sony so they can get more money.

PS3 isn't all that great, OOOH a BLURAY DISC READER OH MY FCKING GOD.
Graphics are glitchy.
PSN is a ripoff of Second Life.
Bugs, EVERYWHERE.
Not that many games. Serious. Only like 2 exclusive titles but thats it.

Big whoop.

360 is great, because everyone's heard of it and has one by now.

It's actually unjust to compare these two consoles, since the 360 was designed and released about 2 years ago.

The Wii is fun, but not that great. Too many cartoony games.

PSN isn't a rip off of Second Life at all. I don't know what the forget you think PSN is, but you're thinking of Home. PSN is Playstation Network.

The reason they chose to use bluray discs is so they didn't have to use more than 1 disc for a game. I'm sure HD has this, but in the long run, the Playstation 3 has more value than the 360 now. There are plenty of games out for the Playstation 3, not all of them are great, I will admit. Plenty are also bad for the 360.

Remember: More can mean both good and bad, not just one.

THE loving RING IS NOT THE GLITCH IT IS TELLING YOU THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE GOD DAMN CONSOLE SHUT IT OFF ONCE IN AWHILE.

Edit for in-depth explanation:
The red ring doesn't spawn on an xbox and screws everything up. It is built into the console, telling you there is an error. Try reading the book, theres a few descriptions for what different light combinations mean.

HD-DVDs are dead, they stopped being sold, you can get tour money back if you have the player for Xbox.  Anyways, I choose PS3, it has free online gaming, with all the features of an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.  It's made by the people who I think are the best with HD.  Also, no gamerscore bullstuff.

Playing online may be cheaper in the long run for PS3, however, I do not play online. Therefore the Xbox 360 is a lot cheaper. I have never encountered an error with any form of Xbox. However I have encountered 3 PS2s that seem to stop working. I treat my consoles and games with care.
I also enjoy the games I play on my Xbox.
I don't care about gamerscore, the only game I actually maxed out was Phantasy Star Universe and thats because you just have to beat all the bosses, which you don't have to go out of your way to do.
Even if I had a PS3, I don't even know what games I'd get for it.

I haven't seen one bug, how do graphics be glitchy?  PSN is a gaming service, you're thinking about HOME.  2 exclusives?  How about the whole game section of the PS Store?  Also, games on multiple platforms are games.  Blu-Ray was so it could have large games, like, hmm, Gran Turismo, and even bigger, MGS4.  Also, guess what, Burnout: Paradise is better on Xbox thanks to PS3's power, because it was originally made on a PS3.  I can tell you haven't used a PS3.  Dumbass.

Ah yes, they just happen to have GREEN lights that spontainiously change RED for absolutly no reason disabling the entire console. You're right, it must be a glitch.
