Well, since:
super smash bros series - after the first one, it sucked
halo series - has always been a stuffty, monotonous FPS that was just made for money
gears of war series - has always been a stuffty, monotonous FPS that focuses too much on graphics
call of duty series - has always been a stuffty, monotonous FPS in a genre that should have died in 1942
grand theft auto series - is too much fun to not need a sequel, hence redundant
blockland v10 - also redundant

I'd have to say that the good sequels would be:
Portal 2
Half-Life 3/Half-Life 2 Episode 3
Diablo III (will probably happen)
Starcraft II (is happening :D)
