I love the games but it sucks that Link does NEVER talk. Would that be so wrong? Well atleast he does screamings and attacking noices.

I believe this adds something many people don't realize to Zelda games.  In many games dialogs are prewriten, or are so with a few choices to say.  In Zelda though, you only get words from NPCs. (well, with the eception of "..." in the end of TP, but I'm sure everyone would say the same thing there)  This takes away the feel that your character is just someone on screen that just says what they're programed to say, but instead allows you to go further into the suspension of disbelief, and makes you ever so more Link, instead of his puppetier.



Kinda like how they won't take off master chief's helmet.

They go to further extremes with that in Ace Combat.  Character's name is never even revealed.

almost beat Zelda 2 but got pissed after the end level being protected by the barrier and respawning me there.

Yeah, I got pretty far on the Wind Waker and Oracle of Seasons though.

Got stuck on the final boss for Wind Waker, water temple for OOT, forgot how far I got in Seasons but it was pretty far, and Ballad of the Windfish I got about half way.

The Ocarina of Time was great, but the puzzles were kind of easy for me. People said that Twilight Princess had easier puzzles than the Ocarina of Time.
