Author Topic: Disable "Too Loud" Function  (Read 1833 times)

I have been getting very angry at the function in blockland that says "too loud" when you put music bricks too close together. I have seen people make add ons to disable the "too far" function, but do you think that it would be possible to make something that will disable the too far function? I just want it to be so I can hear things from more angles, there are times when I can not hear anything, but it still says that it is too loud. Please tell me if you will make one, or if you think that it is necessary.

Too loud isn't defined by a server pref that anyone seems to know.

I say the limit needs to be brought down to the radius of the 3d sound emmiter.
It seems that it displays too loud in a radius further than you can hear.

2nd time I got to use this. :D

ok, I see the graph, but whoever posted the first reply that it displays too loud in a radius farther than you can hear, was right. Can someone at least make something that will reduce it down to as far as you can hear?

what the graph meens dude is that...
if the "too loud" sign goes away..
there would be a major server crash..and you wouldnt be able to hear the songs because all the other music would be binding together..

ok, then could someone make a feature to decide how loud the music is? So it can spread farther (for say, a siren in a DM) or can have a very small range(TV)?

Like for example You can hear somthing in a small building but you can hear about 3 64x64 baseplates on another...

Is that what you're suggesting?

yes, pretty much, imagine a volume button, so you can make things louder or quieter...

What a good explenation.

Badspot's explanation. You know it's gotta be good.

Badspot's explanation. You know it's gotta be good.
Even if it wasn't Badspot's. It is still clear and understandable.

No, it was Badspot's explanation.

No, it was Badspot's explanation.
He said even if it wasn't badspot's explanation.

Maybe better solution would be music brick with wider music radius

That would make them more separated, however, you would only need one to cover an area.
