i know.
i think i would make a small slave home on some moon sized planet.
put a guy from every one of your people's on it.

then visit every now and then to harass them

9 hours of playing straight, got to the Space Stage, played it for about an hour and so far its not very good. Its like an mmo, you go around doing stupid missions for super intelligent alien race that are to lazy to do it themselves. However my path was POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU but the Aggressive and the neutral ways might be a different story. As for any type of vehicles you can only have 1 of each type, like 1 sea vehicle and 1 Air Vehicle, I was a bit depressed about this. But once again I was only able to build Jesus Mobiles and I didn't make a Military city. The controls are just plain weird, I've gotten used to them but the camera view tends to be in bad angles once you pass the tribe stage. The space ship view is like an RTS now, before Spore was released it was like a FPS and looked much easier to use but now you can't tell if you're going to run your ship into every thing. The Creature Creator is completely useless now (I didn't buy it anyway) because in the main menu you have editors for vehicles/buildings/creatures. Another thing I'd like to mention is that the creator of Spore said himself he wasn't going to make it like a single story game but he did just that with spore, my friend got it with me today as well and he was like 30 mins behind me having the exactly the same events (Meteor Shower and UFO stealing creatures) as me but just different creatures/spaceships. Space stage is quite annoying, you get a crap load of money but turns out it isn't even that much at all, you use it on like 2 new features for your Space Ship then you only get money from the missions you do, so you've turned your planet from idiots to Space freaks and all they give you is free recharges/repairs... BASTARDS.

Just a warning, the game can be quite repetitive, you end up doing the same attack when taking over your planet on each city (Because there is only ONE way to do it) and there's like 9 city's to take over, past the tribe stage there is no other intelligent race then your own on your planet. Also a BIG IMPORTANT thing you really need to know, when going into the tribe stage its the last chance you get to modify your character, me and my friend didn't know this so our guys where bloody dinosaurs with spears.

Overall its a bloody good game and I still yet to get further though the space stage, I just wish they kept some of the original content that would of made the game even better. (Like the underwater stage and 3rd Person view on the Space ship)

Does this mean that if you fly to other planets you will not find anymore creatures?
Also that bit about you and your friend getting the exact same events is disappointing. Didn't Will say everything will be progressive or however you define that?

I said intelligent races, not the monsters that roam around the planets. So pretty much you fight as tribes vs other species but as soon as you win that, you are the only intelligent race on your planet no matter what you do.

Yeah he did say every thing will be randomly generated, which every thing is but the "story line" its pretty much the same.

So what's there left to do after you're in the space stage if no one else is intelligent? :(

Fire a meterite with a single cell orgasim into a ramdon planet  :cookieMonster:.

Build schools and trap the stupid people in them :D

Lets first start by rawrman luring the moronic Roblox community into one :D He's intelligents enuff2dudat.

Uh, fudgepacker.
The reason you havnt found any intelligent life that can form civs yet is 1. Sporepedia for spore isnt activated yet, so you dont get peoples races. 2. A bit of realism, as soon as you get out into space you arnt going to start encountering other space faring civilizations. Keep in mind how huge the galaxy ingame is.
Trust me, I dont think the spore team is stupid enough to not include other intelligent life, especially because of the whole "I've seen people encounter intelligent life in the spore streams" thing.

I still can't wait for it. We might reserve a copy :D I hope I get the poster with it though.

Europe just got it before release date.
forget, EA you need to just give the unlock code for the pre loaders now.

Not to mention you seemed to "breeze" through the stages. Remember that you can stay on any one stage for as long as you want, meaning that most likely while you're still on that stage other stuff is going on outside of your solar system.

There's supposed to be expansions later on anyways, that will expand more on the space stage. Things like fleets of space ships and space stations are what I heard.

I'm personally going to stay on each stage for a long time, not the cell stage mind you. I also agree that it's a bit of a disappointment that you can only have one of each type of vehicle, but I'm sure if there is enough of an outcry because of it they will change it.

God damn the world. Set a release date for September 7th in the US. A loving SUNDAY.

But it's fantastic that Australia gets it early.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

today is wensday. Tomorow is Thursday.
Spore tomorrow:D

Lucky, I need to wait till Sunday. :(
