I’ve been working on this build for a very, very long time. It started months ago when I logged onto the USSR dedicated server and saw someone building a bridge or an aqueduct or something using 2x1 plates to simulate bricks. I loved the idea, and wanted to try it. When I saw the “double-wall” technique I knew that I had to combine the two. For those of you not familiar with it, the double-wall is using two separate layers of bricks so that the exterior of your build can have a different color/texture/etc than the inside. Ideal for houses. Anyway, the trial of those two building techniques just evolved into me trying to put as much detail into a build as possible. Every single brick in the build was placed by me, although inspiration for the beds came from some random server, and I got input from guys like NoZoner, //Reformist, Jookia, Blingmobile, WoodlandCreatures, Panda, Lt.BunBun and many others. But enough of my talking, you want to see pictures!

Here’s a shot of the front of the house

Crow Manor features a den (with full TV/stereo event support), two bathrooms, a living room (event-enabled fireplace), a dining room with attached kitchen, three bedrooms, covered porch and a huge attic, all spread out over four floors. It also has a garden, two yards and a couple of secrets, including a hidden maze, five-story “chute” and many hidden buttons. 12,653 bricks total.

NOTE: You can’t really see the detail in the pictures, so I highly encourage you to download the file. Here’s the link: http://www.mediafire.com/?wnxjfdlmmm5 . Please let me know if there are any problems.

I love it, 9.3/10

But the exterior is a bit too boxy, or did you want it to be like that?

Noot baaad, not bad.. I like the interior, but the exterior is a bit dull - It doesn't matter, it's a cool build =)

If you think his is dull wait till you see mine. Exterior is so dang boring you will look at the first picture and never want to look again.

That said, I think it's good. The only thing is, when people say they built mansions, I expect to see mansions. My mansion is huge, so perhaps you might want to add a few things, like a pool and such. Other than that, I give you a 8.7/10. The interior is very nicely planned and looks very well done. Keep at it!

Heh, thanks. Yeah, it is a bit boxy, but I didn't have a plan to work off of so it just sort of turned out this shape. Learn from my mistakes, kids.

As for the mansion affect, I actually think this house is too big. I wanted it to be a standard, suburb-style home. Hence the three bedrooms, two bathrooms, etc. It just sort of... got big. Let me tell you, though, I am very thankful that my sister makes me watch all those interior decorating shows. Really helped me to paint the house.

I really like this build, my only problem would be how boxy it is. Otherwise its an awesome build! Great job.

Haha, yay you finally finished it.

Now may I go have that room? :cookieMonster:

Oh Ya i Saw You Building This. it was pretty cool :D

EDIT:Were Does The File Go?

Save the file. It should appear on your desktop, although it could be somewhere else. Right-click and select "Extract" or something like that. Go to "My Computer-C:-Program Files-Blockland-Saves". It should put two files, Crowmanor.jpg and Crowmanor.bls, in that folder. That's it!

The exterior is a bit boxy, but the interior is good detailed. 9/10

The interior seems a bit cramped and the tower is boxy, but besides that you did a good job.

I wanted to keep thinking, "MORROWIND?!"
But.. it didn't turn out like it. Anyways, a very nice house. Actually a couple rooms remind me of a specific place where you find a Scamp with a lot of money..

Really awesome dude!
