In my opinion, bumping isn't bad if you're a member who's new to the forum atmosphere and doesn't know how things run.

I for one started out on the forums bumping every cool build in the gallery I could find just so that I could express my opinion. I didn't know that it was wrong, and I didn't realize that the forums are a working chat log, being updated and replied to every few seconds. I just assumed it was a place someone could stamp their opinion in a thread just so that others could see. I learned later on, and here I am now.

On the other hand, if you're an experienced member who's been on the forums for some time and you go on a bumping spree... that's punishable.

The once I hate are the one that are more then a year old, say 2,3, but on the other hand things Bones4 titanic or Sniff boat should be bump, thier epic, or should have a forum for the epic builds that everyones votes on.

Some bumping isn't bad, like when a topic was posted last year about some super awesome gun, but then this year you thought of a way to make it. But then again, you could always just create a new post with a link to the original.

I don't give a stuff if someone bumps a thread. If people wouldn't post in the bumped thread calling the bumper a noob and such, this wouldn't be a problem.

There is a problem if a really old topic gets bumped with an un reasable bump that had nothing to do with the topic in the first place.
