Author Topic: Keypad Brick  (Read 1921 times)

A brick that is 1x1, but a special brick like the doors. It would have custom inputs like "On1Activate, On2Activate, OnResetActivate, OnEnterActivate, ect..." I have no idea if this is possible, but I think it's a neat idea.

The trouble, these events would show up on every brick and would fill up the menu a lot...

You could have it as " OnKeyPress" And you could input the key you want to press. That would make only one event in the menu.

Major problem. You can't define what key with just OnKeyPress.

Idea: Complex Ass Script for detecting where each button is, then detecting onActivate where it was clicked to get the button.

Would still need a blubbery mass of events, even if they actually made that.

Trader's custom door events add 8 events to the menu, I don't see the trouble in adding 9 or 10.

You can make keypads already just fine.

You could make doors before just fine as well, but the new ones are pretty and luxurious.

i agree with space trooper... just make a number combo with the password events.

Bump, I just realized that this could be used for a phone brick as well if someone were to make a chat event.

It's relevant. :P
Yeah he was talking about it so I gave him the link.

I have a better idea. It's an input event system; when you push a brick, a GUI will pop up, containing a keypad that uses a 4-digit code. Within the events, if the code is wrong, there can be an event for both right and wrong.
