Whether? Whether what?

Oh and don't you dare bring Gears of War into this. You can't compare SR2 and Gears of War. It just doesn't work like that.
I was comparing GTA's cover system to that of Gears of War.

Saints row 2 ftw
I'm gonna go pwn :panda:'s in my rpg game I made with java kthxbai

Yeah, right. You're on my list.

You just repeated everything I just said, with less content, but which was a reply to exactly what you said.

Quality > Quantity.

Planes on an island would be ridiculous since it would take a mere 2 seconds to get to your destination and they already have helicopters which would defeat the purpose of planes.

I honestly would go with saints row 2, unless if you are for realism, go for GTA IV. Saints Row 2, while it may not be completely realistic is better in almost all aspects except realism.

Saints Row has more things to do than GTA 4 but the overall presentation of the game is horrible. If you can stand to look at it and are ok with the crappy extremely weak AI, go ahead and buy it. It all comes down to whether or not you want a stunning game with incredible graphics or a mediocre game with more things to do and no realism. Personally I'd prefer to feel like I'm actually running over a person as opposed to a plastic doll that flies 12 feet into the air.

Why do people keep using the realism argument?

GTAIV is nowhere near realistic, so it's attempts at realism are just half-assed.

What the forget are you talking about? The only thing unrealistic about it is the health system. No game has a realistic health system.

...

So I assume you rush into huge warehouses full of armed men and kill them all, drive into people all day, outrun the police by walking into a building, and lots of other over the top bullstuff on a daily basis?

If so, why do you need to play GTA IV?

Also, the "realistic" driving they implemented in GTA IV is really bad.

I was talking about physics, blood, scenery, animation and etc. Not the storyline.

The car physics really ruined the game for me.

The handling isn't necessarily realistic due to euphoria. But in exchange for that, cars have realistic damage and vary in handling.

What the hell are you talking about?

I love how you keep bringing up the graphics arguement against Saint's Row. They aren't bad.

You should pick one or take both and lock the thread.
