Then use Crossover. Just because your OS sucks, doesn't mean we shouldn't do something that could potentially help Blockland, bump sales, and make it more popular. We WOULDN'T USE THE STEAM SERVER LIST, WE'D USE THE BLOCKLAND SERVER LIST.

this is the best idea yet, and it would allow the same cheats as porta
eg:noclip, godmode, impulse 101, and buddha mode

Yes because every game uses the Source engine suddenly when it gets put on steam.

If Baddie lowered the cost of the game to 10$'s and sold it on steam, He'd make a huge profit. Yet, he would have to improve the game. Brick Physics hopefuly

source is better than torque :P

But blockland can't just switch to source.

I like Torque's mapping system a lot more than I like Source's mapping system. Having terrain run on forever is a nice feature. It saves the hassle of having to make a 3d skybox, and it's really works well for non-linear maps. I'm pretty sure that even if you had the source code the source engine (and last time I check the price, it was "contact us for a quote," which roughly translates as "you won't be able to afford this in your life time") you'd be locked into using the same map format that limits your level size (unless you do something awesome like decrease the player size).

DO NOT WANT.

I like the (sorta) small community. Having 10000+ noobs would not be cool, and Badspot would make less money than he already does.

I'd like Steamworks stuff like acheivements.

Tools -> Source SDK -> Create a mod -> Source code only?
Or is that only part of it?

Great idea. Badspot needs to get working on this, as it will bring up sales. Who cares if there are noobs? Ban them!

Also, steam no work on Ubuntu D:
