Everyone, just STFU. I apologize that I am worshipping Mutantz. Mutantz pwns. Now STFU about it.
Okay this is getting annoying. Mutantz doesn't "pwn," no maker maker "pwns." It's just invaluable content that will be forgotten about in a few weeks. You shouldn't worship ANY map/add-on maker or any mortal in general, let alone Mutantz. None of his maps are good for building, which is what this game is about - and this is coming from someone who has been mapping for almost 4 years. Also, only 1/3 of the maps up for download are his. I'm not perfect and neither are my maps, but at least I have experience. I can't even imagine myself having fun in his maps.

However, Mutantz has a lot of potential that he needs to explore, but he can't explore it when y'all keep praising him. And Mutantz you seem to react negatively to criticism; if you think this is bad you should have seem the TBM days and what I went through. AiO-R got in serious trouble thanks to one of my maps that had the TBM copter in it. Criticism is only negative if you see it that way, and if someone insults you then just ignore the insult and try to see what they are saying.

Also, I have technically made more maps than Mutantz because I have been releasing maps since the days of AiO-R, but I haven't released the old ones because they aren't up to current standards of quality. It seems to me that new players love these maps because they are impressed by the quantity instead of the quality. Now stop worshiping him and see him for what he is, a map maker who has good potential but needs criticism, not worship. And Mutantz don't take this wrong, I'm not insulting you. Also, on the whole quality vs. quantity issue, I just counted the number of custom maps in use via RTB server browsers, and only 28 out of 82 servers are using custom maps.  17 of those are slate edits (I think, I may not be up to date on every single name of every slate edit.)

If you want to make custom maps, it looks like you'll need to put in allot of quality for people to actually use it.  This isn't like weapons of vehicles were you can have any number of them, with maps you only can have one at a time.  So if people are choosing what map to use, they're going to go with quality.  Making a ton of maps won't help anything.  Making a few quality maps will change everything, since people will actually use them.  If a few people use a map over and over, more servers will start using that map instead of playing with it for a minute or two, getting bored then just switching to slate or the bedroom to have fun.

Then your not putting enough effort into the quality of the maps you make.  You have to make a really high quality map to make it be worth anything.  If you make tons of them, it simply raises the bar of the required quality before the map will be widely used.

the last few posts are a good idea of why i have not put out any more maps,i AM putting more effort into them,criticism i can take,its when i am accused of ripping off something i didn't.

i thought i left lots of space for builds.

island village is my best map i think.

no maps are being released because i am going over them  many many times now to find any flaws i didn't catch already,even the smallest gap is unaceptable.

i am also just kicking back and checking out the add-ons and maps that are being released.

just because someone can do something you cant,no matter how amazing it is does not make them worthy of worship,no man is a god.

I've told you this many times before, don't pollute the forums with any more horrible interior-based map.

I, for one, HATE many of these maps. The "City RPG" one, for example: Two roads,  one lined with houses from his equaly crappy "Camelot" (basicly a bunch of houses in a giant wall with a box in the middle) map, and a giant box-thing at the ends of the other one. AND, even though they cross each other, there is no intersection what so ever.
