Center/Spread Emitter

I'm sure that many of you who were around for V8 know that all emitters used to show up only at the center of the brick, now they all spread through out the brick. This comes in handy for building multitudes of things, snow, rain, fog, all sorts of things. It helps to save you the trouble of having to build tons of bricks and putting the emitter on each one. But the thing is, I need to have the emitter in the center for multiple things. Could someone make an add on that would create a check box under the emitters bar when you wrench a brick, that would allow you to switch between emitters spread through out the brick, to emitters centered? It would be much appreciated. Please think about it.

The best idea I would have for this kind of mod is to create a small invisible object in the center of the brick and have the emmitter go from there but I would think it would be hard to do that.

Really what I think you would do with it (although I don't script at all) is just edit where the emitter is coming out of. Just tell the game to make the emitter come from the center of the brick, not all of the brick, although that might be much easier said than done.
