Need Steam Help

Hi! I'm trying to install Gmod, but every time I try, a window pops up that says either "The Steam servers are too busy to handle your request. Please try again in a few minutes." or "Your Steam ticket has expired. Please re-enter your password to continue." I've been trying to get it to install since midnight, and it's 5:00 AM now! D:  I've put this up on the Steam Tech Support site, but they're being completely useless, and I don't want to wait until morning for an answer! What should I do?
