I'd imagine that since they are just normal bricks without collision, bricks would just sink to the bottom.

I've got no clue what happens if you fake kill them with an event or something.

Yeah, to be more specific I mean when a water brick gets fake killed.

Yeah, to be more specific I mean when a water brick gets fake killed.
I am guessing it just uses the actual brick to do the brick kill then the water surface.

more questions! I must be getting annoying, I don't care though:

1: How would you make something like the leaves? would it be like, on player touch-self-(see 2)-(see 3)
2: would this make it's own event or would it just use the already existing fakekillbrick event?
3: If it is it's own event what would the parameters be?
4: Are you interested in buying a cover for your hole?
5: Would all bricks be able to do this or just the bricks that can currently be destroyed by a blast?
6: 6 months is to damn long (not a question but I don't care)
7: similar to Q1, if you fell on the brick and gave it an event to, say, explode upward, could you do that?
8: Can i come in your hole? It's cold out here.

It is the normal fakekill event.
All bricks can be destroyed, just some will need a more powerful weapon than the rocket launcher.
The fakekill event has perimeters for velocity, so you could make it go in any direction.

(please correct me if I am wrong but this is my understanding after reading the topic)

Do you give any thought to your suggestions?  Lol, it should be self-evident as to why this is a terrible idea.
I give thought to it. However I am not an expert physicist. Yes, people could cheat it. Cheat it to accomplish... what, exactly? Kill themselves? The brick would have to be fakekilled to be triggered, and from there the player would have to know the id of the brick in order to trigger it. The player would also have to be an experienced scripter to figure this stuff out anyways. If it is too unreliable then it obviously wouldn't work. Seeing as it is not released I have no idea as to the unreliability of the physics, so I can't really figure that out.

If a brick touches a player without enough downward/other velocity, you could also stop it from killing.

It is not self-evident because no one(or very few people) thinks the same, and therefore(since we have already discovered that we think differently and you should know that) these things are not immediately obvious to some. Because you make the assumption that they are, I have to guess at what you are thinking of and I cannot appropriately respond unless I get lucky and pick right.

It would look like people were dying randomly since not everyone would see the brick falling on your head.
It would seem that unless there is a degree of randomness to the physics, people would not be dieing randomly.(as the same path would be projected) There would be differences but I wouldn't think that a brick dieing from the same blast would be 20 feet away on another person's screen.
Unless someone has the physics turned off, of course.

Its an idea. Tell me why its wrong or why it won't happen. Give evidence/explain (hint: I don't read minds, nor am I well-studied in this area). Idea dies. We don't need to drag it out any longer than that.

That sounds... Strange

Also, is there the possibility of making a box of like, a bunch of 1x2 or 1x1 pieces and have all of them fall onto you and bury you in a pile of bricks? That'd be so awesome :D
Answer plox D:

I'm glad Badspot didn't announce this back when he came up with the idea... we would all be waiting forever.

I also thought that damage/death was held server side such as fall damage and mini game deaths.

Also I do not think that badspot thought of it. From what I see, Kompressor has been working away on his own doing this, Just now that he made it fully workable minus the lack of bug test and other beta testing type stuffs.

What's the song called, btw?

What happens if we somehow built a sort of castle drawbridge that can raise and lower,
some poor schmuck goes afk in the middle of it when its lowered and then we raise it up,
WHAT NOW?!

How would that drawbridge even work...

stuff i have no idea .__.

.__.

People aren't getting this.

Everyone, this is only an edit of the fakekill function. This does not mean we can have movers or anything like that.
