Neither of them are very scary but those are the scariest I've played.

I had some demo of some Japanese horror game for the PS2, I kept jumping out of my seat every 5 seconds.
Same with some other zombie game where the zombies would pop out at you in the most odd times.

Doom 3 was the only game I've ever played that genuinely scared me.

Yeah there were some jumpy moments in Doom 3. Mostly because the game is so god damn dark 99% of the time and you have no idea where you are going or what's around you.

Scariest game ever. It, most of the time, doesn't even have any danger to it, but it scares the stuff out of you.

I was afraid of playing half-life as a kid(I watched cousin play it) then I grew out of my fear. I think AvP 2 can be scary at times, like when you go down a dark hall way and your flash goes out and then an alien jumps up infront of your face and you jump out of your seat.
