Patch 1.8 Secret of the Goblin Mine
New Features
Planting System
Players now can grow their own special plants, granting raw materials for crafting. Simply take a planting pot, some seeds, water and fertilizer, take them to your house and take care for your plants.
In Logar, next to the Mayor and in Varanas there will be new NPCs explaining the new system to the players.
Note: Plants can also be used like furniture - simply "lock" them and use them to decorate your house.
Personalised Houses
Players can now customise their houses. It is now possible to use several styles and lay-outs to make your house much more of a home than before.
A new interface element in your house will appear and allow you to switch between lay-outs etc.
Note: All existing furniture will go back to the "un-placed" status and has to be rearranged.
Goblin Mines Mini-game
In Aslan there is a NPC that will invite players to participate in a traditional Goblin game. Players can participate to win new titles and big prizes. We suggest trying it as a group.
Epic Weapon Quest (Lv. 50)
This new epic quest will allow players to gain new, epic weapons. Check with the NPC in the Obsidian Stronghold.
Changes
Changes to Crowd Control skills
All skills that would leave a target "helpless", like Slow, Stun, Root, Fear, Reduced Attack accuracy, Sleep, have been changed as follows. These changes are necessary so the opponent (especially in PvP) will have a chance to fight back instead of simply being slaughtered.
In PvP the skills now have a lesser efficiency than before. Example: Numbing Dagger (at lv. 50) would render a monster "helpless" for 30 seconds. In PvP the opponent is now "helpless" for 15 seconds.
The more the same skill is used against the same opponent in PvP, the less effective (duration) it becomes. E.g. Numbing Dagger used for the first time will last 15 seconds, the second time 10, then 5 seconds.
Monsters using the same skill are treated similarly: Their skill effect will be reduced in duration as well.
Players using the skills against monsters multiple time do not suffer any negative effect.
Mount icon functionality changed
It is now possible to use a mount by right-clicking the icon.
To dismount it is now possible to right-click the icon in the inventory.
To swap between mounts it is now possible to click on an other mount in the inventory instead of dismounting first.
It is now no longer required for lv. 7 guilds to collect 10 guild stones to increase the guild to lv. 8.
The Spider King's Poison from the tutorial is now bound, cannot be auctioned and won't drop by PK.
Ystra Labyrinth - Royals' Refuge: Dinnai Family Bag: The bag no longer contains 60 Pieces of Solid Energy but instead Ancestral Spirit Herbs or Elemental Spirit Stones. Edit: Corrected the name from "imperial" to "royal".
Skill changes
Electric Attack - the skill's values for lv. 35 and lv. 45 have been adjusted
Freeze - the lv. 0 version of this skill has now a duration of 5 seconds instead of 10.
Poison - the effect is now "Poisoned", and it can be removed by antidote skills.
