well, if they werent on a server, it could just say "Offline" or if they were online, it would say "Server- <servername>" very good idea.

I think it should be something simple like personal messaging in servers.

• You should be able to leave messages.
  
• You should be able to pick a ringtone.
• You should be able to customize the phone's appearence in a phone editor.(similar to avatar editor)

I don't think it should get as complex as an Iphone.
Even a house phone idea would be great.
