I can confirm. Only approximately 20% of my overall knowledge comes from school. I'm at least a graduate-level programmer and haven't taken a single computer science class. I've written informal dissertations on topics that no class of mine has ever mentioned. I could probably start up a psychology practice and nobody would know that I have no formal certifications. Literally anything you want to learn you can learn on the internet.

We have an old home movie of when I was barely two years old and I was rattling off the real names of my Hot Wheels cars. "Viper, Vette, police car, taxi, dump truck, Chrysler, Buick, Impala..."

I also memorized the entire at-the-time Dodge lineup. My mom says she would drive me through a Dodge dealer and I'd say, "Venger (Avenger), Tepid (Intrepid), Status (Stratus), Kavan (Caravan), Dango (Durango), etc"

My point is that if there is something you want to know that you don't know, all you have to do is get on a device and type a question. And that is amazing. We shouldn't take the internet for granted. Thirty years ago if you wanted to know something like, 'Why does my left testicle hang lower than my right?' you would have to either ask your dad and settle for that or go to a public library. And a couple hundred years ago, books were only for the very wealthy, so you would be stuff out of luck if you wanted to know why your nut is wonky.
