look guys i totally don't own a trimmer and totally didn't grow facial hair on my own accord it clearly means i'm poor afterall right :)
i appreciate that bro
Exactly, so you aren't going for length. If you were going for length and expected all your hair to grow evenly, the bottom of your head would begin to look like a semicircle. Chin hairs grow faster than cheek hairs naturally, and trimming mine would be counter intuitive for what I'm going for. We can just agree that we like different types of beards, how about that?
so you're trying to tell me that captain patches is equally attractive to full facial hair?
what are you going to do once your cheeks start filling in? have a weird m'lady beard and peach fuzz cheeks? keep everythjng even until it grows in. trim daily to maintain a standard length. no random stragglers that are way longer, keep the lines straight. you gotta take care of your beard like you would anything else.. keeping everything at an even length allows for even growth.
obby each hair grows at a different speed, which is why it's important to make sure you trim at the same length for a week or so, and then change the trimmer head to a longer length.
I'm not saying your beard growing methods are wrong...but they're certainly not right.
edit: I do have to give you points for not having a pencil beard
