*listens to sunday school music exclusively*LOL you are interacting with the wrong people then. I'm Christian, and I've NEVER met another Christian who hates rock. Heck, we've even got Christian metal and screams bands. Don't believe a lot of what you hear about Christianity, a lot it is misconstrued.

EDIT: That ninja tho. Yeah, there are a few out there, but those are usually the "extremists" that you will find in every religion. Media tends to focus on this a lot, unfortunately.
I've met plenty of them. I was raised in the church and i've been drug everywhere to many different kinds of Churches. I WAS a Christian for many years until recent. I was a Missionary kid to boot. Also i've already stated that not all Christians are this way but from living for a good while in my area (NC) this kind of strict practice is definetly not uncommon at all.

i have plenty friends who listen to hardcore genres - in fact most of the Christian ones do - and i myself as a Christian do as well on occasion, whether the band identifies as religious or not. here are some good examples(roughly ascending in heaviness) if anyone's interested:

for today - determination
august burns red - white washed
becoming the archetype - dichotomy
saving grace - shekinah
impending doom - death will reign

I love all of those! especially ABR. While Christians can produce some garbage films, they do seem to thrive well in the music genre.

put them on a skateboard and learn to skate instead of being a FILTHY TRENDY
why would I want to be a filthy skate punk? I love my boards ability to go 45-50 mph down hills

don't forget monster by skillet

holy loving i spat my oatmeal reading that haha

I've never met one Christian with that mindset. I've met a few who preach on a daily basis and get a rise out of trolling people who get annoyed with it, but I've never met one against rock music or blue jeans.

No
most states have gone to pretty impressive lengths to avoid any bias religious acts, like they teach about religions from a purely informative standpoint. They don't tell you which religion you should follow simply what they are and the history of them

also rally you better reply to my post about longboarding you dyke

Oh, ok. Didn't realize your situation. Even so, I think this sort of thing tends to be more localized. While most people that I interact with live nearby, we have similar experiences. While I still wouldn't consider it common, I definitely agree that in certain areas are far more strict. Personally though, I have yet to meet anyone like that.

I don't want to derail the topic too much more than I already have, but I will say the bigger trend recently are the "feel good" megachurches that basically exist solely to make money off of people, which is awful.

I mean, I don't necessarily agree with not listening to rock, but being non-violent is generally a good thing lol.

Blue I love your board btw I'm sad to see a broken one :(
