Help with RAM

Doing that would beat the purpose of buying the ram, I have 1gb in right now, and the one I got is also 1gb

I got a stuff-load of virus's and it removed my ability to use Start->Run. :(Nah, Its not old. We've had it for maybe a year or two.Thanks :D

Open up computer

take out old ram ( if necessary)

Put in new ram (may not fit in perfectly. Make sure the side clips snap onto the ram card)

Very important! I've had some frustration because of those very clips.

Notice the word "got". I had virus's, But got rid of most of them.

Alright, I unplugged the computer, had to take out another stick of RAM to get mine in, but all went well, and the computer is working fine. Thanks for the help guys.
