Author Topic: Parkour: How the hell do I get into it?  (Read 18413 times)

Should i add you to the list?

I guess if you want, but I don't really see what difference it makes, it's not like a group of professional trainers are going to see this and be like "Holy stuff we need to get these guys some help!"

I tried doing parkour and....

I kinda broke my leg.

I do parkour sometimes with my friend. Be prepared to hurt your ankle btw.

Just go to a park and start vaulting over stuff and doing flips off swing sets.
Hope you don't die and have fun :D

I jumped off a 9 foot wall a month or two ago. It wasn't a smart idea, seeing as how I didn't know how to land very well.

I didn't absorb the fall by bending my legs as much as I should have. Instead of landing in a crouched position with my hands on the ground, I landed halfway up from it.

Well, I bruised my right foot, near the area below the base of the big toe's bone. Couldn't walk on it, for a while. :(

Yes please. Parkour is amazing, I was always obsessed with it since the age of 8.

But I don't think you would need to add me to the list, I already know how to do most of it.

I'm lucky, my area has alot of areas perfect for parkour.

Plus I'm pretty sure there are classes for it in most major cities, or sydney atleast.

Dude your avitar is messed up

I heard search engines are a great way to find information.

You run around your city. Also you have to be in peak physical condition.

Lets have a fun story

One time i decided to jump over what i thought wall a very small wall. And it was. With a giant drop on the other side :D
Long story short i grabbed the wall before i fell :D

SPE1DERMaEN!!!1!!!!
HAI R U IN TROUBLES?

If you live in a large enough city, there might be a group of people and "teachers"

I would suggest going to the gym or like rec center. There is one in my town thats just like a off-chute of one of the gymnastics programs.
