online sucks. You need a different friend code for every single online game. If you're up for that then go ahead. If you do get it, then chose the games you buy wisely

I have one and wish I never bought it.

When it was working, I rarely ever played it, even with almost all of the games I wanted/liked for it.
It also had trouble reading (new, unscratched) discs, and playing online was generally laggy. (Internet connection was fine.)

There is no communication for multiplayer, and the friend code system is bullstuff.

There is Brawl, Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii, Wario Land Shake, Megaman 9, Dr. Mario, and the Homebrew Channel, which lets you use better emulators than the VC and such. So, yes, buy a Wii, right now.

Wii fails to facilitate anyone who wants to do some serious gaming, but if you're a fan of novelty and new things don't wear easily for you, go for it.

I loved it the first few months I had it, but as a gaming platform, you're hard pressed to beat good ol' keyboard and mouse.

My cousin brought his over like on Thanksgiving and we all had a pretty good time bowling, boxing, and all that other stuff. That was WiiSports. You can get a pretty good workout from that stuff. Ive played some of the other games and they're alright I guess.
