Ok let's move away from the fact that it's all bland and boring and move towards the fact that it's infesting the forums.

The "utility" you're talking about is the problem, since you use these loving jokes OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. If you are still laughing hysterically every time you see a picture of say creepbear after frequenting about 5 jokes of it weekly over the past 3 years then I'll have to ask you step the forget outside.

You guys have been using these stuff jokes not because they're funny but simply to unify yourselves or some gay stuff. They're secret gay handshakes, that's it. They aren't funny handshakes, yet they get plastered all over the place in every loving thread desperately trying to be comedic. You guys still find those old beaten jokes funny for whatever spectacular reason you can come up with but really, are they actually funny? Is it funny enough to use over 100 times? 1000 times? Funny enough to mention it everytime something remotely relevant drops by?

Interesting story, I heard a rumor that the vets in /b/ don't take kindly to memes. This is why my entire topic isn't necessarily aimed at them, but at the people who cross-post memes originating from there to here, or from somewhere else to here.

This is precisely why i'm still reluctant to use catchphrases and jokes here. I very rarely use them and I'm careful not to use it more then once. "Get Out" might be the only exception but that's it. I don't want you guys driving them into the ground.
