Author Topic: Who's Getting Windows 7?  (Read 7694 times)

Have you tried the Wifi with that computer but on XP or Windows 7? It could be compatibility issues with the hardware instead of OS.

Don't hate an OS for having one problem anyway.

Not on this computer. I'm depending on Windows 7 as of now. I have to wait till they re-release. I'm not sure how it could be the hardware though. It is a pretty decent computer. Anyway, I have been planning to sell the USB and save up some money for a wireless router :/

Just because it's a decent computer doesn't mean that it won't have compatibility issues.

What kind of compatibility issues? What might be doing it?

Dude, I have Vista and I hate it so much. It won't work with the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB :( I think they actually discontinued the production of these too......
bawww i cant play nintendogs on wifi vista sucks now :(

That's exactly my problem.

Then Nintendo did a stuffty job of making the drivers for it.

Below part of post is directed at ryanb.
Blame them and if they don't help then it's their fault.
Vista is now 100% like XP with more system requirements after SP1, so don't bring bullstuff that it doesn't work because it's Vista's fault unless you have real proof.

I though he meant a bridge thing with Vista.  Funny.

Bridging is easy like in XP.

Windows XP is gonna be dead on the release.

It kind of makes me made how Microsoft can just kind of give up on Vista so fast. I am sure if they spent more time on it, it could be pretty nice but there inability to perfect something is present in this case.

Im pretty sure 7 was being worked on before Vista's release/soon after

We are gonna have to update sooner or later. seeing as games are starting to stop supporting Direct X 9 (See: mafia 2)

And my internet sucks to much to download the beta ;_;

I mean the wireless hardware isn't detected.
