Author Topic: Xbox 360: Redundancy kills me  (Read 3255 times)

I'm sorry about causing such an arguement, but I do agree that the PC is both of them combined. If I was to get anything right now, although, it would be a 360 as it's the only gaming console I don't have.

What exactly is redundant about the 360?

On LBP, people make objects like xbox w/ red ring of death. I (in my time with xbox live ever since it came out) have never seen people making fun of ps3. Sure Players Little kids make fun of it in the in-game chat, but you don't see people forging ps3 broken and crap on halo. I think they are both great consoles.

(I have LBP and resistance 2 :3)

How about instead of just quoting dictionary.com, you give me a straight reply?

What exactly is so superfluous about the Xbox 360? It plays games and DVD movies. Has online capabilities too. I don't see how any of that is redundant.

My point.

My point.

Your point is that it should have redundant systems? how is that a good idea for a game console?

Sounds like you are confusing features with redundancy. Redundancy would be like having 2 disk drives built in so if one failed you'd have a backup. The ability to play Blue-Ray movies or connect to an online market place are features.

Look at the bold. My point is the same as yours. They aren't using the word correctly, it's not redundant.
