MW mercenaries was the absolute stuff. I drowned something like 2 months of my life playing it, no regrets.

Some team of dudes was working on a more modernized mechwarrior game mod for Crysis, but I think that fell in the water. It's a shame since it looked like it was going to be allot like Mercs, with the possibility of online insanity and branches of extra features, and destroyable environments.

Edit: Oh nvm, they're still working on it. Woop! http://www.mechlivinglegends.net/

They've got quite a bit of work done on it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ja1M0fUzxF4&feature=channel_page

I've never played any Mech Warrior games, any to recommend? <3 Armoured Core, anything robot I like.

MW: Vengeance was pretty good.

MW 4 mercenaries is good you the mektek pack.

Speaking of Mechs. I've been working on a Mech themed Blockland build with the release of the new Mechs.some natural terrain mixed with structures scattered around. We tested it tonight and it was loads of fun. hopefully i'll finish it completly tomorrow.

Chromehounds = Mechassault 3?

Chromehounds was loving amazing.
QFT.

I just loooove playing as the Puma. And Cougar.

Personally I gotta love the Uziel, maneuverability combined with devastating firepower.

Bushwacker is my personal favorite. Not the best of mechs but I really like it's appearance. I also really like the MadCat and Vulture.

Mechs which look like stuff:

>Daishi:   #1 worst offender  (I believe that is the name). Heaviest mech available, most armor too. ugly as forget. Weighs in at over 100 tons before weapons.
>Atlas:   Human like appearance is cheesy.
>Catapult:   Pointless mech. It's artillery could easily have been mounted a more rugged wheeled/tracked chassis. Same for Strider
>Orion: Same as Atlas

Madcat is the trademark mech. Its the first mech you think of when the term MechWarrior comes up.

Oh my god, I completely forgot about this game.
When I was like six, my dad showed me his old MechWarrior 2 game.
I played it on an IBM, lol. (Shows how long ago it was...)

Anywho, I loved shooting the instructor in the tutorial and getting owned.
My six year old mind found that quite entertaining.

Regnarock is my kind mech but the slow speed is hard geting use to if you like lite meches
But I completed 4 full waves of meches with that bitch.

I think MW touched ReactorWorker when he was a little boy. Lol, so much disgust for a game.

I suggest MechCommander II if anyone is interested in a cool game.

Clan mechs in general kick ass. Clan weapons kick metric tons of ass. Although they generate a considerable amount of heat.

Oh yeah... two missile pods firing one after the other. Sit around and wait for it to cool down.
