Thats so sad.A week ago, my teacher's dog named Sammy died due to sickness.Sammy was over 100 years old in human years.
A) I don't quite think so.B) If it was 100, it's gonna die of old age, not just sickness.
1 year of a dog's life is the equivalent of 7 years in human yearsThe dog was about 15 or something
What's all this 'dog's years' and stuff? Years are years, they do not change because you are a different animal.Dogs don't live 100 years, it's a well known fact.
Dog years are just an estimated equivalent for stages in a dog's life and their comparison to human years.
Damn, I'm depressed now. D:
Why call them years? A year is a set time. You don't say a 'midget's centimetre'.
Actually, "dog years", known to be 1 human year = 7 dog years is incorrect. This is because a dog reaches maturity in about a year at which point a person would only be seven. (Which is obviously not mature to humans.)
The idea that one human year is seven dog years is an incorrect urban legend. It is not true. Here you go: Snope LinkI browse snopes during study hall. :P
