He is right though, it is called the Dark Brotherhood. The Black Hand is a divsion of the brother hood. The murderers are the palm, the speakers are the 4 fingers and the listener is the the thumb. Each speaker and listener is equipped with a nail which represents the Silencers.

If you have the Mehrunes' Razor plugin, you can also eat a beating heart and become a vampire.

I don't know about vampires in Oblivion, but I hated being a vampire in Morrowind. I figured I'd just try it once to see what it was like. After roughly 15 minutes as playing as a vampire, I went back and slaughtered my own clan, then blazed through the cure quest.

In my new game, I think I'll go through all of the vampire bases and murder them all.

Stupid vampires.

There's a mod for oblivion that lets you add sun damage on self to spells to reduce the cost of spells, but I can't seem to find it anymore :(

Yeah, I think vampires in both games are pretty terrible. It's more of a handycap than anything else.

Sure, you get a bit of fire resistance, some new spells, and some little strength bonuses, but other than that, it's pretty useless. Plus, trying to constantly keep track of time just to stop yourself from burning to death in the sun isn't fun at all.
