Like my graphic cards, because it freezes when the guy is with the cone gman or when I try to join, and it says memory unable to be read. Sadly I dont have Half-Life 2 :( I tried it on xbox its good.

you don't need Hf2, you only need a sorce game, like portal, tf2, HL2

Thats what it says tails :( I even downloaded portal and tried to open that, but portal didnt open.

try this:

1. Right click Gmod
2. properties
3. Set launch options
4. Type in "-dxlevel 80" without the quotes
5. Click ok
6. Launch Garry's mod
       If worked, go to eight, else, continue.
7. Contact someone else and have them fix the problem.
8. Celebrate.

Whoa whoa wait, has any game worked for you or is this your first time running all of these games?
Post your computer specs, and have you tried restarting Steam?

You must have atleast one source game to get the source engine allowing gmod to run.

Also it seems you have faulty ram. Needs moar type of ram and quantity of it.

Steam will not let you purchase Gmod if you don't have a source game.
