Ya sign up on the forums, then go to the homepage and click the big SIGN UP FOR BETA.

there sending the invites out in waves though.

I don't expect much(in terms of being picked), but I might get lucky.

Yeah...they said about 300 thousnad people signed up for beta, and they can't except all fo them. I am guessing around 60-150 thousand people are being picked.

Well this isn't beta anymore... (so they say...) This is pretty much a limited server stress test. They are testing how much stress is put on the server when numerous people are on. They're goal is about/over 10,000 people, and I am positive they have several servers in which they need to test whether or not people from common parts of the world can join without a problem.

Feel smart, although somebody will find a huge mistake in what I said and I will feel dumb.

they said each server holds like 20k people.

They are only having two servers up... so 40k people.

so much for open beta.

I don't think it was ever meant as an open beta test, just a stress test. Just be patient.
